Know Your Customer (KYC) Workshop
THE KYC WORKSHOP HELPS YOU IDENTIFY YOUR IDEAL CUSTOMER AND OUTLINES CLEAR, TANGIBLE WAYS OF HOW TO COMMUNICATE AND INTERACT WITH THEM IN THE BEST WAY - ULTIMATELY LEADING TO MORE LEADS AND SALES.
In this 3-hour workshop, divided into two parts, we will start by identifying your ideal customer(s). We can then move on to how to appeal to them, and do so by identifying values that both you and these customers share, and then crafting your unique value proposition that appeal to them. In the third step, we translate the first two steps into some tangible advice on how to communicate with your ideal audience, which you can then use on your website, social media and any marketing material, both online and in print. This workshop is SO important, which is why we start all our projects with new clients by doing this. It is the foundation on which we build all our other strategy work on.
Two 90-minute, 1-on-1 workshops, conducted in person or over Zoom.
In these workshops we cover 3 parts:
In Part 1 we focus on identifying your ideal customer, or follower on social media, identifying the values most important to them, in order to better understand what language to use to interact with them, for them to truly connect, and do business with you.
In Part 2 we work to formulate your own unique value proposition, which clearly and succinctly states what you stand for, what your core values are, and what makes your business unique, compared to all the others. This can then be used in all communications, both online and in print.
There is a break between Part 1 and 2, and Part 3, and you will be given “homework” to complete before we meet again.
In Part 3 we first go through your assignment, ensuring that your Unique Value Proposition really reflects your brand and what you want to communicate to your audience. We then map your content for social media to tie it all together and ensure that both your content and how you deliver it, aligns with your customers values, as well as your own business goals, and how you wish to portray your business. All according to best practices.
Time Commitment: 3 hours
All of this is geared towards use on social media, but what you learn in Part 1 and Part 2 can be used for all areas where your language and communication is important, such as on your website, for your printed marketing materials etc, or just to better understand the importance of your communication.
This workshop is often run in combination with other services we offer, but can also be done standalone. After the workshops you will receive a written report with all your answers documented, for you to keep and review when needed.
